Music Ministry

Our Sunday morning music is a blend of hymns, contemporary praise and gospel designed to bring you into the presence of God. Our musicians and singers seek to serve God in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music, hope and love, while leading others into God's presence through praise.

Centering Prayer is a method of prayer that places a strong emphasis on interior quiet and the experience of God's presence. It is the opening of mind and heart - our whole being - to God. Centering Prayer is rooted in the Jewish spiritual tradition in which Jesus was raised and the ancient prayer practices of the Christian contemplative tradition; notably the Desert Fathers, Lectio Divina (praying the scriptures), The Cloud of Unknowing, John of the Cross and Teresa of Avila. It is Trinitarian in its source, Christ-centered in its focus and community building in its effect.
