The Bible teaches that it is normal for Christians to serve those outside the church. Acts of kindness demonstrate God’s love in a practical way and builds bridges to the lost. The immediate goal of service is to relieve human suffering. A secondary goal is to build relationships with hurting people. The ultimate goal is to bring about genuine life change in individuals through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
